What Judges Are Looking For

The Grand Prize honors the app that shows the strongest user traction and growth momentum during Shipaton. Judges want to see what you did after launch to move the app forward: product improvements, user acquisition, retention, revenue, and a clear story of momentum.

This is the broadest category. A great submission should make the case that the app is not only built, but starting to work in the real world.

What To Include

• A clear description of what you did after launch to grow the app.
• Relevant numbers, such as downloads, revenue, conversion, active users, waitlist growth, retention, social reach, or community engagement.
• Screenshots or submission copy that help judges understand what changed during the event.
• A short explanation of what you learned and what you would do next.
